Rated 3 out of 5 by Frustrated QBO customer from Doesn't download data from QuickBooks Online Although there is a workaround (get a trial copy of Quickbooks Desktop, jump through flaming hoops to export the data and import to the DT edition) this product doesn't download financial data from QBO. WHY NOT??? What possible excuse does Intuit have for this? Could it be that you are trying to wean customers off QBO? If so, why not just say so and reduce friction?

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
