Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for explaining W-2's but lacking elsewhere I feel as though Turbo Tax did a great job explain W-2s and and how to enter them. However, the sections for 1099 were extremely lacking. I feel as though this is very backwards, seeing as 1099's of all sorts are much more complicated. For each one TurboTax's handholding just seemed to end. There were no more explanations, nor examples, just questions that left me scratching my head because I do not have a formal background in business/finance/taxes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Live Assist is Helpful I really appreciate how easy TurboTax makes the preparation. If I had to use the IRS forms without the TurboTax guidance, I'm sure I would be completely stressed out. The "live assist" was extremely helpful because my spouse lives in a different state than I do, and he is a partner in an LLC and I'm a member of an LLC in different states, plus we both have W2 income.
