Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for self-employed! I had to file late this year due to circumstances beyond my control and TurboTax made the process much more manageable. The software offers clear, easy-to-manage instructions to help explain tricky concepts as well as maximize deductions for my self-employed private teaching studio. I recommend their services and will be using them again next year.

I used to work for a familiar tax company that has stores all over the U.S. I used Turbo Tax before I worked for that company and now that I no longer work there, I still use Turbo Tax, because it is a much easier program to learn and use. No matter what level of education you have, Turbo Tax makes doing your own taxes easy. I use Turbo Tax Premium because we have mineral rights that are productive. The program walks you through every step of the way. A person does not need to know tax law, because Turbo Tax does. I have done taxes by hand in the seventies and eighties. I have used several different programs, but the best, easiest, and most thorough is Turbo Tax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the Best Way to Go I have used TurboTax for years and had an overall good experience. It leads you through step by step and makes complicated things seem simple. The only difficulty I had was this year, using the downloaded software without support of tax experts. I had to look up lots of things myself and had a hard time finding answers. The final check was the most difficult since I had no guidance about how to fill in the couple missing answers. Do your taxes before Oct. 17th if you plan to use TurboTax!
