My taxes are not particularly complex (no equity transactions etc.) Both times the live person was very accommodating and the later person went the extra mile to be absolutely sure my taxes (both federal and state) were completed properly. No short cuts.

TurboTax is great for people like me who like to work through their own taxes and when you run into errors or issues that can't be figured out on your own, the people at TurboTax are available to help get you through it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it is the cheapest but it always has hidden fees so annoyed with turbo tax, it is the cheapest but they always have hidden fees at the end. like do you want to pay with refund? you say yes, then at the end it says oh its $120 because its $40 to pay with refund....so then you have to go back to that spot and go a different route to avoid that extra fee! trying h&r block next year.
