Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax used to be great Ive used turbo tax for the last 6 years and have never had to pay for it. This year, however was different. Because I had a Retirement Savings contribution from this year, I was forced to used the Turbo Tax Deluxe, Which charged me over $130 for federal and state fees, as well as a fee for using the "pay with my refund" option. I am quite unsatisfied with the results of this. Turbo tax has always done a good job by getting me the best tax return possible, but after the ridiculous amount of money I was charged for having a simple $100 retirement contribution on my taxes, I will probably not use TurboTax services again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Taxing made easy Every deduction and line has a statement that provides additional information that is short and sweet so for anyone learning about this its a great way to ensure you're doing the right thing. While taxes in general are stressful this tool makes so much easier then filing by hand. Also I can trade stocks with confidence since TurboTax will automatically fill in your trade summaries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USED TURBO TAX FOR YEARS I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR YEARS AND HAVE FOUND IT TO BE VERY RELIABLE. FOR EXAMPLE, MY WIFE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT A CERTAIN TAX YEAR AND SHE WANTED TO CONFIRM THAT TURBO TAX DID AN ACCURATE JOB. I TOLD HER THAT IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF MONEY TO CONSULT A TAX PREPARER BUT I CONCEDED AND WE WENT TO THE PREPARER TO REVIEW THE FORMS. AFTER PAYING A $75.00 CONSULTATION FEE, HE ONLY FOUND THAT ALL THE CALCULATIONS AND FORMS WERE APPROPRIATELY FILLED AND NO NEED TO MAKE AMENDMENTS. HA!
