Rated 5 out of 5 by from TURBOTAX IS THE BEST PART OF MY IRS NIGHTMARE THE IRS AND US FEDERAL TAX CODE A NIGHTMARE. BUT IF SAID NIGHTMARE WERE ONE IN WHICH I WAS FLYING IN SLOW MOTION AWAY FROM CERTAIN DOOM, TURBOTAX IS THE PART WHERE I CAN FLY.

I saw other software that was definitely less expensive to file (mine was $170 to file federal, 2 states (SC & GA) and to get the Max coverage to have audit help if needed as a security). This software seemed easier to use initially than the less expensive I saw so I went with the easier interface since I've never filed myself before.

As this was my first time, I was nervous about messing up or not understanding what something meant but thankfully there is many explanations and details in each part of the process that make it easier to understand it. Another great aspect of TurboTax is their format. It makes the process flow very smoothly and speeds it up.
