Rated 2 out of 5 by from A farm for personal data Turbo tax forced me to pay for premium to file my taxes because i had a week of unemployment assistance and that wasn't covered in the standard package but it also wouldn't let me ignore it and kept going. so now I'm 39 dollars down. on top of that there was an agreement to share my information with 3rd parties that was basically mandatory because I couldn't pass or else they'd make me do a whole bunch of work on top of the already hours long process of filing taxes. very pathetic and shameless approach to selling your information to 3rd parties. Wouldn't be surprised if this service doesn't let negative reviews appear publicly as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Price increases at the end. Second year I have been unable to file my state tax returns electronically. I still have not received my state tax return, after mailing in the paperwork you all did. Now I have to amend my state taxes, and this year again I am unable to file. Also--- Last year I did not have to pay for the service. I gave in and paid this time, and then the price increased at the very end, literally no extra information was entered, because you all used the information I entered for free last year. I'm in a pinch this year, but next year I will use another service. Very Unhappy.
