Rated 3 out of 5 by from Won't Pay Extra to Filing State Returns Turbo tax works relatively well but I refuse to pay for state preparation software AND then get charged again to file the same returns electronically. This is clearly double-dipping and will be taken into consideration when I purchase software next tax season.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Montana State Return needs work When switching from married filing separate to married filing joint, TT loses all date from spouse instead of combining what had been separated. Will be looking at MT State recommended program for next yar!

They pull most of your information from existing online systems so you don't have to input much manually. The only down side is their steep prices but the cheaper packages are worth it if you have multiple sources of income and want to make sure everything is filed correctly.
