Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is user-friendly TurboTax is very easy to use and pretty reasonably priced. There were several instances where they tried to upsell that were pretty annoying, hence the loss of a star. Overall, pretty painless and I'll probably use it next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax was HORRIBLE! IT WAS HORRIBLE....I live in VA....It asked me if I had a house and I did in WVA so I input the information. When I finally got to WVA state form where I chose step by step instructions....well it never transferred the data into the form nor did it ever ask me about a house sale...TurboTax took me right to the end and after the "Review and Check" proclaimed I had no errors and asked me if I wanted to e-file...I'm like ...What?...I had $27,500 of capital gains in which I had to pay taxes on....needless to say I had to go line by line through the form and fill it in myself...TurboTax is a joke!Tom

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Every other country gets this for free. I hate that I HAVE to use a program like TurboTax because companies like TurboTax pay congress to keep it that way. This program is a useless third party that is only in this position because of corruption and government payouts. Bite me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Getting too expensive Only used for the convenience of staying with the same platform I've used for the past few years. I will seriously consider switching next time. Last year I paid $93 and this year I'm paying $222 for the service, that's unacceptable considering other tools are doing this for 1/3 of the price

(Turbo tax full service representative) Her dedication, astuteness, thoroughness, attention to details as well as great communication and timely messaging is commendable and excellent. My experience filling my taxes with her this year is so amazing, that I want her(Turbotax live service tax representative) to file my taxes as well as the taxes for my sister ( similar tax bracket as I am) next year. If all tax preparers at TurboTax were as skilled and dedicated as Jennifer W (Turbo tax full service expert); I think turbotax will be the goto tax engine and the numero uno tax engine.
