Rated 4 out of 5 by from Charitable Donation Turbotax stated that standard deduction would allow for a $300 cash donation contributions. I've definitely contributed that amount and tried to efile accordingly. Turbotax kept saying that my 1040 donations were too high and if I wanted the number I put in (<300) I'd have to file by mail. I did not want to pay extra to chat online with a consultant (used to be free) Not too happy this year. Prices keep going up, service keeps going down.
