I did not get a 1099-R. how can I get one?

You would contact the company that sent your the pension distribution and request a duplicate copy if you don't have another document that lists the amount distributed. You want to be sure you enter the amount they reported to the IRS, so I would get the duplicate copy rather than try to use an amount off the year-end statement plus you want to make sure of the distribution code listed on the 1099-R. When you do get the 1099-R, to enter it in the program, click Search Topics or Forms, enter 1099-R, highlight the item in the list and select GO.
