Question

Asked

I filed a state tax return and although turbo tax still has the return pending, the state website confirms that the return was accepted and is being processed. Has anyone else had this experience?

Turbo tax has my state still pending and it has been a week, since I filed.
My state says status unknown.
I am surprised that it is taking so long with the state pending status. In the past, I receive a refund about 6 days after I file-and it is accepted immediately.

Yes but in my case, the state does not say status unknown. They are telling me via their website that my return has been accepted and is being processed. Turbo Tax is still saying the return has not been accepted as yet.

Myself and others here had that same problem but with our Federal return, the IRS site was stating that they had our returns and they were being processed but TurboTax still had them as pending. As it turns out the IRS site was right and eventually TurboTax did end up saying they were accepted.

I would go by what your State website is saying, and keep checking to see if TurboTax sends you an accepted notification.
