EIC SEEMS TO BE DIFERENT THAN WHAT THE IRS WEBSITE SAYS

I am filing a return jointly with on qualifying child and I have a taxable income of 36,000 but turbo tax says because I earned greater than 35,241 I've earned to much. According to the IRS Website, as long as I earned under 39,783 I should at least get some. What is wrong here?

The earned income limit if you have one qualifying child and you are filing jointly is $35,241. If youre earned income is this amount or more, you do not qualify for EIC. The $39,783 limit is for joint filers with more than one qualifying child.
