Question

Asked

Where do I report my 2008 TANF income?

I received TANF for October, November, and December of 2008. I did not know I needed to report these payments as income until I began the Earned Income Credit section of my return. In the EIC section I was asked if I received workfare (TANF) payments. I replied that I had and the next section asked me to enter how much I had received but ONLY if I reported it as income. I don't want to enter any false information so I went back to the Wages & Income section to try and find out where I should enter my TANF income, but I could not. Please help if you can.
