Charitable organizations are either 50% limit or less than 50% limit organizations. Churches, educational organizations, hospitals, the US or any state and foundations to prevent cruelty to children or animals are examples of 50% limit organizations. Veterans’ organizations, fraternal societies and nonprofit cemeteries are examples of less than 50% limit organizations. The organization should be able to tell you into which category they fall.
