Manually Update TurboTax Business 2007

If you're unable to update TurboTax automatically, you can manually download and install updates. Follow the step below.

Note: Manually updating TurboTax does not resolve connection issues caused by your computer setup. Your system's firewall, content blocker, Internet settings, etc., can prevent you from automatically checking for updates or using One-click Updates. Connection errors will continue to occur until you resolve your computer issues.

  1. Click the Download file link below, and then click Save. When downloading is complete, the icon appears on your computer where you downloaded the file.

  2. Close all programs, including TurboTax.
  3. Double-click the  icon to install the updates. Do not interrupt the installation process or end it prematurely.

Note: When you manually update, you apply the latest forms and software changes to your TurboTax program. You may need to update again later, depending on your tax situation.

Note: To work around any error messages, you can temporarily turn off automatically checking for updates and manually verify your TurboTax is up to date (for steps, see Set Your Connection Preference and Verify TurboTax Is Up to Date). When prompted in TurboTax, you can sign up to be notified when your forms are available, and upon notification, either download the updates or order the free update CD.
