Solution 1

Follow the steps below for your version of Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer 6

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On the menu bar, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  3. On the Internet Options window, click the Programs tab.
  4. Select Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser checkbox.
  5. Click OK, and then close all Internet Explorer windows.
  6. Open Internet Explorer, and if prompted whether Internet Explorer should be the default browser, click Yes.


Internet Explorer 7

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On the menu bar, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  3. On the Internet Options window, click the Programs tab.
  4. If Internet Explorer is not the default browser, select Make Default.
  5. Click OK, and then close all Internet Explorer windows.
Solution 2

Follow these steps:

  1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start, and then click Run
  2. In the Open field, type Regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK
  3. When the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message appears, click OK.
Solution 3

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On the menu bar, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  3. On the Internet Options window, click the Advanced tab.
  4. Under Browsing:
    • Select Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)
    • Select Disable Script Debugging (Other)
    • Clear Display a notification about every script error
  5. Click OK to close the window.
  6. Restart your computer.
