Error 9107: Your download was unsuccessful...

This message appears when attempting to update TurboTax. Here's the complete message:

Your download was unsuccessful. We encountered an internal error while we were trying to download update files. SuperPatch may fix this problem. Do you want to try installing SuperPatch?

This error is often caused by issues with a firewall, content blocker, or Internet dial-up accelerator.

To resolve this error, try this:

  • If you use MSN Dial-up Accelerator or other software to speed up your Internet connection, temporarily set it to normal or off before updating TurboTax.
    Note: If you use MSN dial-up service, you're probably using the MSN Dial-up Accelerator.


Still can't update?

If you use a high-speed connection (e.g., cable or DSL), manually update TurboTax.

If you use a dialup connection, order the free TurboTax update CD.
