Error 9137: TurboTax did not launch successfully

Error 9137 occurs when you attempt to start TurboTax:
TurboTax did not launch successfully. (System Error: %d).
Where %d is the system error.
Follow these steps to resolve this error:
Uninstall TurboTax
Follow these steps:
- From the Start menu, select Control Panel (or select Settings, and then select Control Panel).
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs, select the TurboTax product to remove, and then click Change/Remove.
- Click Yes to confirm removal.
If you have problems uninstalling TurboTax:
- Ensure you have administrator rights on your computer.
- Start your computer in safe mode, and then uninstall TurboTax.
Reinstall TurboTax
Follow these steps:
- To install the TurboTax federal product, do one of the following:
- Install the federal product CD.
- Double-click the downloaded product file on your computer.
Note: You can redownload the product file if necessary.

- To update TurboTax, do one of the following:
- Start TurboTax, and then follow the prompts to download and install updates.
- Select One-click Updates from the Online menu in TurboTax.
- Manually update TurboTax.
- Install the TurboTax update CD.

- To install the state product (if applicable), do one of the following:
- Download/install the state product from your TurboTax program.
Note: You must open a federal return before you can install the state product. - Double-click the downloaded product file on your computer.
Note: You can redownload the product file if necessary. - Install the state CD.

- Open your saved return (if applicable).
