Order Summary Does Not Print

If your order summary does not print after you purchase Pro Review, Audit Defense, or an additional state product, check your printer setting. Ensure that your default printer is a physical printer, not an image writer. (An image writer scans paper documents and then converts them to digital images for transmission or storage.)

Follow these steps to set the default printer and print your order summary:

  1. In Windows, select the Start button, then select Printers and Faxes.
  2. Right-click the printer on which to print your order summary, and then select Set as Default Printer.
    The check mark next to the printer icon indicates it's the default printer.
  3. From the TurboTax Tools menu, select Order Summary.
  4. Click Print, and then click Save.
