High Contrast Causes Download Problems (Missing Continue Button)

When you download your state, error 22746 may occur or the Continue button may be missing if you use high contrast for legibility.

To download your state, you can temporarily change your high-contrast setting so the Continue button is displayed.

Note: Instead of changing your high-contrast setting, you can use the Tab key to navigate to the Continue button. (You may have other display issues, though.) Or you can request the TurboTax state CD by calling us toll-free at 800-624-8384.

Follow these steps:

  1. To change the high-contrast setting:
    • On the Start menu, select Control Panel.
    • In the Control Panel window, double-click Accessibility Options.
    • In the Accessibility Options window, select the Display tab. 
    • Clear the Use High Contrast box, and then click OK.

  2. Download your state in TurboTax.
  3. To change the high-contrast setting back, repeat the steps above to check the box.
