You can save your Quicken information into a .txf file, and then import that information into TurboTax.
Notes:
- TurboTax does not support import .txf (tax exchange file) files for Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) sales. They must be manually entered in to TurboTax.
- You can import Quicken information directly into TurboTax without having to create a .txf file (see Import into TurboTax Desktop or Import into TurboTax Online). However, there are times when you'll need to create a .txf file, such as when Quicken and TurboTax are on different computers or if you are experiencing problems importing directly from Quicken.
- You must create a separate .txf file for capital gains (except for ESPP sales) so you can import this information into Schedule D in TurboTax.
- TurboTax Business software does not support import from Quicken.
