- Go to the TurboTax Live Community.
- Under Topics, look for Preparing Your State Return(s).
- Click on the orange button next to the group with your state. The group will expand.
- Click on the name of your state. Discussions for your state will load in the right-hand column.

Here's what changed in Ohio's tax law for tax year 2007:
Tax Rate Decrease
This year's tax rate has been reduced by 4.2%.
Exemption Increase
The personal and dependent exemption has been increased to $1,450.
Ohio Medical Savings Account
This deduction has increased to $3,944.
Federal/Ohio Depreciation Differences
Due to current and past year Ohio depreciation and amortization deductions that do not conform to federal law, you may need to make adjustments to the taxpayer's 2007 Ohio income tax return. Please see the Ohio tax help in the program for these adjustments.
Ohio does not have an extension form. Ohio does accept the federal extension as an extension for time to file the Ohio return. Be sure to attach a copy of the federal extension to your Ohio state tax return. For further information, click on Ohio Income Tax Individual
