Resolve E-filing Transmission Issues
An e-file transmission error occurs when you choose to e-file your tax return in the TurboTax program but the software does not successfully transmit your tax return data to the Intuit Electronic Filing Center.
In most cases, the TurboTax program displays an error message if the program determines that your tax return cannot be transmitted. Before you e-file your return, make sure that you check your return for errors. Always follow the on-screen instructions to guide you through correcting each of the errors that the program finds before you begin to e-file your return.
When you finish error-checking your return, you should see a "Congratulations!" Interview screen that confirms that the TurboTax program did not find any errors in your tax return.

If your income tax return was successfully transmitted by the TurboTax program, you should see one of three e-file status messages: ACCEPTED, PENDING, or REJECTED. If you don't one of these status messages in the TurboTax program, your tax return may not have been transmitted properly.
