Set Your Internet Connection to Work with TurboTax

When you install TurboTax, your Internet connection is configured automatically so you can use the online features in your TurboTax program.

In rare situations, your Internet connection cannot be configured automatically. If that happens, follow these steps:

  1. From the menu bar at the top of the TurboTax screen, select Online, and then select Internet Connection Setup.
  2. Select Use my computer's Internet settings to establish a connection when this application accesses the Internet, and then select Next.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the Internet connection.
  4. Restart TurboTax.
