Help your TurboTax software access our Web site more easily by allowing your browser to accept cookies and pop-up windows.
Note: If you're using TurboTax Online 2007, click here.
Select your browser, and then follow the steps below.
Important: Be sure your browser meets the minimum requirements for your version of TurboTax. For TurboTax 2007 requirements, click here.
- Safari 1.x and 2.x
- Firefox 1.x
- Firefox 2.x
- AOL
- Netscape 7.x
- Internet Explorer 5.x
Safari 1.x and 2.x
Follow these steps:
- On the Safari menu, click Block Pop-Up Wndows to remove the checkmark.
- On the Safari menu, click Preferences.
- Click the Security icon at the top of the window.
- Under Accept Cookies, select Always.
- Close the Preferences window to save the settings.
Firefox 1.x
Follow these steps:
- On the Firefox menu, select Preferences.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Under Cookies, select Allow sites to set cookies (or Accept cookies from sites).
- Click the Web Features tab, and then clear the Block Popup Windows field.
- Click OK.
Firefox 2.x
Follow these steps:
- On the Firefox menu, select Preferences.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Under Cookies, select Allow sites to set cookies (or Accept cookies from sites).
- Click the Content tab, and then clear the Block Popup Windows field.
- Click OK.
AOL
Follow these steps:
- On the AOL menu, click Preferences.
- Click the Cookies tab.
- Click Enable all cookies.
- Turn off pop-up blocking.
- Click OK.
Netscape 7.x
Follow these steps:
- On the Netscape menu, click Preferences.
- In the left pane, under Privacy & Security, select Cookies.
- In the right pane, select Enable all cookies.
- Under Privacy and Securty, select Popup Windows.
- In the left pane, clear the Block unrequested popup windows field.
- Click OK.
Internet Explorer 5.x
Follow these steps:
- On the Explorer menu, click Preferences.
- In the left pane, under Receiving Files, select Cookies.
- In the right pane, at the When receiving cookies field, select Never ask.
- Turn off pop-up blocking.
- Click OK.
