What is "My Account" and how do I update it?

You can create an online account -- called My Account -- to manage your order information for all Intuit products, including TurboTax, Quicken, and QuickBooks. With My Account, you can:

  • Check out quickly.
  • Track your orders.
  • Access your product download files.
  • Maintain your address and credit card information.
  • Manage your TurboTax Automatic Renewal enrollment.
  • Access your prior return in the TurboTax vault (TurboTax Online).

Create My Account

  1. Click here to access the Account Setup page.
  2. Enter your billing, shipping, and account information.
  3. Click Create Account (at the bottom of the page).
  4. When the Account Confirmation page appears, click Continue.

Access My Account

  1. Click here to access the My Account - Sign In page.
  2. Type your user ID and password.
  3. Click the Sign In button.

Update My Account

  1. Click here to access the My Account - Sign In page.
  2. Type your user ID and password.
  3. Click the Sign In button.
  4. You can now update account, billing & shipping, and payment information.

Update My Account E-mail Address

If you can access your account follow these instructions:

  1. Click here to access the My Account - Sign In page.
  2. Type your user ID and password.
  3. Click the Sign In button.
  4. Under My Account Overview > Account Information, click View/Edit.
  5. Update your e-mail address.
  6. Click the Save Info button.

 

If you cannot access your account follow these instructions:

Go to the E-mail Change Request screen and be ready to provide the following:

  • TurboTax Online User ID
  • Old e-mail address
  • New e-mail address
  • Mailing address
  • Daytime phone number
  • One of the following via fax or digital scan:
    • Driver's License
    • State Issued ID with address
    • Notarized document with your name and address.

You will receive an e-mail verification when the e-mail address associated with your TurboTax Online account has been changed. (If you do not receive the e-mail within 24 hours, please contact us.)
