How to Enter Mortgage Interest Points Not Reported on a Form 1098

There has been some confusion on where to enter Mortgage Interest Points not reported on a Form 1098.

Please follow the steps below to enter this information:

1) Create a separate Home Mortgage deduction with the same company name.
2) Select three options: "This is a new loan...", "I'm spreading the points
(amortizing)," and "I did not receive a 1098.” (Pictured Below)
3) Continue to the “Tell Us About Your Loan” screen, Then enter your amount in the
"Dollar Amount of Points Paid (Origination Fees)" field.
