There is an issue where after importing 1098 Mortgage Interest.

Some users are receiving the following error during error check.

The error states "Form 1098 (Bank Name.): Link to Home Mortgage Wks should be linked to applicable home mortgage interest worksheet.

Solution:

The following steps will resolve this issue.

1) Delete the Home Mortgage Worksheet. For assistance with this please visit Removing Forms from Your Tax Return

2) Either Re-Import the 1098 Mortgage Interest Statement or Enter the information manually.

3)Enter information about Mortgage Lender

4)Return to error check
