Can I claim real estate taxes on a second or third home?

You can deduct real estate taxes paid on any number of homes you own.

If the additional home(s) are not rental properties, include the real estate taxes with those paid on your first home.
If the additional home(s) are rental properties then the real estate taxes will be a rental expense and will go in the section with your rental income and expenses.
