How to Remove Refund Processing Services Before E-Filing

If you are using TurboTax desktop software for Windows or Mac, and you want to remove Refund Processing Services before you e-file your tax return, follow these steps:

1. Click the File tab.
2. Select the File A Return subtab.
3. Continue through to the Payment screen, and change your selection from Deduct your fees from your federal refund to Pay with your credit card.

If you are using TurboTax Online, and you want to remove Refund Processing Services before you e-file your tax return, follow these steps:

1. Select the File tab on the left.
2. In the Review Your Order section (second step), click the blue link that says Make Changes.
3. On the Review Your Order screen, change your selection from Deduct your fees from your federal refund to Pay with your credit card.
4. Then click the blue Pay Now button to enter your credit card information and complete your order.
