What if I don't have my W-2?

Although your employer has until January 31 to mail your W-2, the IRS recommends waiting until February 14 before taking any action.

In the meantime, ask your employer or payroll department if and when your W-2 was mailed.

If it's after February 14 with no help or response from your employer, the IRS can assist you at 800-829-1040.
