Utah Residents - Box 15 Employer ID Error

Error check is asking to 'Check This Entry' for the W-2: Box 15 employer-ID
Utah changed the format of their Employer’s State ID Number from seven to fourteen characters.
The correct formats are:
- 11 digits followed by ‘WTH’ for W-2's and 1099's.
- 11 digits followed by ‘WMP’ for Mineral Production.
Solution
If prior year information was transferred into a 2011 return with the old 7 character format for the Employer State ID, replace the old 7 character Employer ID number in Box 15 of the W-2 with the Employer's new 14 character State ID number from the W-2.
If the W-2 contains the employer’s old State ID number, then the employee must go to their employer and get the new State Employer ID Number.
