Why am I being asked questions about an IRA when I have a pension?

On the TurboTax 1099-R interview screen there is an “IRA/SEP/SIMPLE” checkbox between lines 7 and 8 that will treat the 1099-R as a pension if unchecked and an IRA if checked. This box should be marked exactly as shown on the paper copy of Form 1099-R. Make sure the checkbox is correctly marked.
