How to create W-2s or 1099s in TurboTax Business

Upon opening the program, locate the blue button at the bottom of the screen labeled Prepare W-2/1099.

After selecting this button, choose between the two options available, either prepare W-2’s or 1099’s.

The Choose Online option will take you to Quick Employer Forms Online to prepare W-2’s or 1099’s.

The Choose Desktop option will allow you to prepare W-2’s or 1099’s on your computer.
