Verify TurboTax 2011 Is Up to Date (Mac)

We provide updates throughout the tax season to keep TurboTax 2011 software in sync with the latest tax changes.

Before you file your tax return, be sure you have the latest TurboTax update (Release 9):

1. Open TurboTax.
2. From the TurboTax menu at the top of your screen, select Check for Updates.
3. The TurboTax Update Assistant will open will check for available updates. If you see the message No Updates Available, your program is up-to-date.

To verify you have the latest federal updates, follow the steps below.

1. Open TurboTax.
2. From the TurboTax menu at the top of your screen, select About TurboTax.
3. Click the More Info button.
4. Compare the Version number of the first three Components with the information in the table below.
5. If TurboTax displays a lower version number for any of these Components, update TurboTax.
