Error Code 18953690245 may appear when uninstalling TurboTax while simultaneously running backup software (such as Carbonite Online Backup) or antivirus software (such as McAfee Internet Security).

Note: Don't confuse this with the error 18953690245 that occurs when installing TurboTax. That is a different issue with a different solution.

Solution

Make sure you're logged into Windows with administrative rights.
Temporarily turn off any online backup and/or antivirus programs you have running.
Uninstall TurboTax. Mac | Windows
When finished, turn on any applications you turned off in Step 2.
