The error occurs when updating TurboTax.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps to reinstall TurboTax:

Uninstall TurboTax.
Install the TurboTax CD or download.
Start TurboTax, and then select One-click Updates from the Online menu.
If you still can't update, refer to Troubleshoot Updating TurboTax (Windows) or try downloading and installing a manual update instead.
