Solutions
Follow these solutions, in the order listed, until the error goes away.
Internet Explorer 7 & 8
- Open Internet Explorer.
- On the menu bar, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- On the Internet Options window, click the Programs tab.
- If Internet Explorer is not the default browser, select Make Default.
- Click OK, and then close all Internet Explorer windows.
Internet Explorer 6
- Open Internet Explorer.
- On the menu bar, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- On the Internet Options window, click the Programs tab.
- Select Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser checkbox.
- Click OK, and then close all Internet Explorer windows.
- Open Internet Explorer, and if prompted whether Internet Explorer should be the default browser, click Yes.
Solution 2
Follow these steps:
- On the Windows taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open field, type Regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
- When the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message appears, click OK.
Solution 3
Follow these steps:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- On the menu bar, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- On the Internet Options window, click the Advanced tab.
- Under Browsing:
- Select Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)
- Select Disable Script Debugging (Other)
- Clear Display a notification about every script error
- Click OK to close the window.
- Restart your computer.
Solution 4
Reinstall Internet Explorer or use another browser:
- Download and install Internet Explorer 8
- Download and install Internet Explorer 7
- Download and install Internet Explorer 6 (SP1)
