How to Clear Your Cache

Your computer stores recently viewed Web pages in the Temporary Internet Files folder, also called a "cache."
If the cache fills up, your computer may slow down or suffer other performance issues.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Microsoft's support article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260897 has a downloadable Fix It Tool that will clean out your Temporary Internet Files folder.
The article also includes step-by-step instructions, if you prefer to do it yourself.
Mozilla Firefox
Follow these steps:
- At the top of your browser window, click Tools, then click Options.
- Click the Privacy tab, and then click Settings under Private Data.
- In the Clear Private Data window, be sure Cache is selected, and then click OK.
