An error occurred that prevented the installation from completing...

This error appears when attempting to update TurboTax for Mac.

It can occur if you attempt to install a manual update when multiple instances of your TurboTax program are open.

Solution

To resolve this error, exit all TurboTax programs, and then install a manual update.

If the error persists, reinstall TurboTax and then try updating again.
