TurboTax 2009 .NET Utility Tool

This tool is designed to help troubleshoot and repair the most common .NET Framework issues that prevent TurboTax 2009 from installing.
It is specific to TurboTax 2009 and should not be used for any other tax years.
Before downloading and running the .NET Utility tool, make sure you either have the TurboTax 2009 CD in the CD drive or you've attempted to install the TurboTax 2009 download at least once. This step is necessary so the tool has access to the install files.
To download and run the tool:
- Click here to download the tool.
- Save the tool to your Desktop:
- Click the Save button in the File Download - Security Warning window.
- Click the Desktop icon in the Save As window.
- Click the Save button.
- Double-click the TurboTaxUtility.exe file located on your Desktop.
- The Utility Tool will attempt to install the product. If it cannot, it will move to repair mode.
- Click the Run button in the TurboTax Utility window.
- If you get any messages, make a note of the message and click OK.
- Install TurboTax.
If you still cannot install TurboTax, try to run the tool in Advanced Mode:
- Double-click the TurboTaxUtility.exe file located on your Desktop.
- Click the Advanced Mode tab in the TurboTax Utility window.
- Click the Run button.
- If you get any messages, make a note of the message and click OK.
- Install TurboTax.
