Removing Unwanted or Blank W-2s

You may be asked to correct W-2 information during error check and discover that you do not need this W-2 in your tax return. You must delete the W-2 to avoid errors with e-filing.
Solution
To clear the blank W-2, do the following:
- Visit the Federal Taxes Tab
- Click through the Let’s Work on Your W-2 interview screens until you reach the W-2 Summary screen.
- For the unwanted W-2, select Delete.
Once the blank W-2 is deleted from your tax return, you can run error check again.
