Why was I rejected for the TurboTax Card?
When you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to reasonably identify you.*
After you have been identified, you may have been declined due to one or more of the following reasons:
- You do not have a valid Social Security number.
- You are not at least 14 years of age.
- You live in Vermont and cannot obtain the card due to state regulations.
- You have a residence address outside of the United States.
*Note: When you request a, TurboTax Card, we must follow the USA PATRIOT Act†, a federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account. Not everyone is approved for a TurboTax Card.
