RESOLVED: Ohio School District Refund does not set the Correct Refund Method
When filing an Ohio School District tax return using TurboTax Online, selecting direct deposit of direct debit may generate a different option of receiving your refund or paying your tax due.
- If you have a refund for both your Ohio State and for Ohio School district, and you have elected to direct deposit, your School District refund will be mailed in a form of a paper check.
- If you have a balance due for both your Ohio State and Ohio School District and you have elected direct debit, your School District tax due must be paid by paper check.
A product update was released on 2/03/2013 that resolved the issue. Please visit the How to Update TurboTax State to learn more about updating in TurboTax.
