Issue To Be Resolved Post Tax Season

Some TurboTax users are finding that the Interview screen for the Massachusetts carry-over loss is instructing them to enter an incorrect amount from a prior year tax return. The amount from line 23 on the 2011 Massachusetts Schedule D is what should be entered.

Resolution

We are happy to inform you that TurboTax will update the program to reflect the correct line number in the interview after tax season. Since this does not affect any calculations in the return your tax return may be filed without issues.
