Can I get the IRA deduction if married filing separately?

If you lived with your spouse, you can only deduct part of your Traditional IRA contribution if your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) is less than $10,000.

If you are married filing separately and did not live with your spouse, the limits are the same as for the single filing status.
