Resolved:Taxable Social Security Calculating Incorrectly

There was an issue in which Taxable Social Security was calculated incorrectly in certain situations.

Line 3 of the Social Security Benefits Worksheet was calculating incorrectly in the following scenario.

Who Is Affected?

You were affected by this issue if your 2011 return included both of the following.

2011 Social Security Benefits.

And

2010 Roth Conversion with amounts on Lines 25a and 25b of 2010 Form 8606.

Solution:

This issue has been resolved in a TurboTax update that was released on 3/8/2012.
