Resolved:Retirement Contribution Summary Screen Error

Article ID: SLN65356

The summary screen for "Lets Check Your Retirement Contributions" was incorrectly indicating an excess contribution for 401K accounts in some scenarios.

The summary screen was indicating a negative amount has been overpaid into your retirement account, when the contribution is below the limit allowed.

However, the program was not including any excess contribution penalty in the return.

Solution:

This issue has been resolved in a TurboTax update that was released on 1/17/2013.
