How to contact us
Once you click the blue box above, you'll be asked a few simple questions.
- First, tell us what is on your mind. Enter your question in the top field that has the text, Ask Your Question - We'll Get You An Answer.
- Second, tell us who you are and your contact info. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email address, and Phone number. The fields are labeled with the info you'll need to enter.
- Third, click Continue. We know your time is valuable. You'll be given a few recommended answers based on your question. If you didn't get the answer you were looking for, no problem!
Under the recommended answers, select either Ask the TurboTax Community to get an answer to your question through our community of tax experts and other TurboTax users (without even having to retype your question!). Or choose Contact a TurboTax Expert by phone or online chat.*
- Choose Chat to chat live with a TurboTax expert directly on your computer.
- Choose Phone to talk directly with a TurboTax expert.

Where is the phone number for TurboTax Support?
We don’t have a single support phone number; we have dozens. For this reason, when you contact us online, we ask you for some information so we can route you to the correct expert who is best-equipped to answer your question or handle your issue.
It may seem a little frustrating that we don’t list our phone numbers on this page, but it’s a much better experience than calling the wrong number or getting transferred multiple times.
